It even comes with guides to help you paint them on easier, but I think that they don't really help. Use a piece of tape and place it over the larger portion of the nail that you don't want white. Then pain white nail polish on the end of the nail. The tape should help keep a clean edge. When white nail polish is dry, remove tape and then paint the rest of your nail a pink or clear color.
