THEY ACTUALLY HAVE MANICURE KITS THAT HELP YOU DO IT..IT COMES WITH STRIPS, AND THE WHITE NAIL POLISH...VERY EASY
well you can buy french manicure pens at drug stores, which have a brush type thing which white paint comes out evenly. I have one and its really easy and works great. For a little extra help you can use the little stickers. Once you got your pen


put on a primer (normally a light pink color)


let dry


apply white tips


let dry


apply top clear coat


let dry and YOUR DONE :)
well the way i do it and it looks real good ...








use clear tape to do the line... then in white put it on the top of your toes.. then after it drys use clear finger nail polish to shine it





its cheap and easy! and its real fun if you have kids cause you can do theirs too!
you could try what they do at nail salons and use a nail brush and paint the white tips first and then paint the color over it and then put on the clear coat.
well getting the manicure kits never work for me but it might for you....how i do it is i have a little brush and i paint a pretty thick white line on the top of nail then i dip the brush in acetone (nail polish remover) and remove the part i dont want. this gives you a chance to shape it exactly how you want it and it always turns out nice 4 me. this is also kind of how they do it at the nail salons.
